A quite surreal but priceless experience: watching Mayon Volcano’s pyroclastic flow and video taping the footage using a now old Sony Hi8 while having a few ice cold San Miguel Beer, sizzling pusit (squid) and sisig pulutan (appetizers) while listening to a local radio station feed of rock and roll music blaring out of the PA system of the only beer garden in Cagsawa Ruins located in the province of Bicol, Philippines. (During my re-visit April 2009, I found out that the beer garden has been destroyed from lahar flow from the 2006 eruptions). There are 3 more videos on my YT channel. (for a printable recipe, go to www.JennyJones.com) Jenny’s Deviled Eggs 4 hard-boiled eggs 2-1/2 teaspoons mayo (I use reduced fat) 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon yellow mustard salt & pepper to taste 1. Slice eggs in half & remove the yolks to a small bowl. 2. Add mayo, mustard, salt & pepper to the yolks & combine. 3. Using a teaspoon or tiny spatula, divide the yolk mixture between the 8 egg halves. (sprinkle with paprika if desired) 4. Keep refrigerated in a covered container.
